Research - Blessing Based Evangelism

BlueSky Ministries was birthed out of, and continues to be fueled by, a deep passion to see the Church fully engage our culture for Christ with innovation, authenticity, and efficiency. One of the most effective ways we have encountered, both in the Bible and within our culture, to gain an audience with people is through the doorway of blessing. In a culture permeated with signs of decay and a voracious appetite for distraction, blessing is a very attractive and bright light for the majority of people. In fact, all of our evangelistic strategies incorporate the concept of blessing within them. While we passionately believe in the Blessing-based evangelistic model, we are daily reminded of and humbled by the eternal truth of Psalm 127:1-2:

Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.
